Montana’s Credit Unions is pleased to announce that Darci Parsons, President/CEO of Ravalli County Credit Union, was recognized with the Steve King Professional of the Year award. Each year, this award is presented to a professional who best exemplifies the credit union philosophy.
Darci Parsons excels at motivating and inspiring her staff to be involved in serving the community. Besides volunteering with Montana’s Credit unions as a Tri-State mentor, a member of the Montana Credit Union league Board, the MCU Women’s Advisory Committee Chair, and a member of the Credit Unions for Kids Committee, Parsons also volunteers on the local chamber of commerce board and the local Head Start board.
“Darci is the epitome of the credit union philosophy,” said Montana’s Credit Unions President/CEO Tracie Kenyon, “She dedicates countless hours to making her credit union, her staff, and her community better she is the perfect recipient of this award.”
Parsons said of the award, “I am so honored to receive this award for doing what I love to do every day. I feel that it is important for leaders to inspire by example which is why I choose to volunteer in my community as well as the credit union community. The credit union philosophy is ‘people helping people’ and I feel that my staff and I embody this sentiment at Ravalli County Credit Union by giving back; to our members as well as our community.”
Named for a former Montana’s Credit Unions board chair Steve King, this award honors his tireless and extensive commitment to credit unions across the state.
